قَالَ لَقَدْ عَلِمْتَ مَٓا اَنْزَلَ هٰٓؤُ۬لَٓاءِ اِلَّا رَبُّ السَّمٰوَاتِ وَالْاَرْضِ بَصَٓائِرَۚ وَاِنّ۪ي لَاَظُنُّكَ يَا فِرْعَوْنُ مَثْبُوراً
Translation
[Moses] said, "You have already known that none has sent down these [signs] except the Lord of the heavens and the earth as evidence, and indeed I think, O Pharaoh, that you are destroyed."

Müellif iki itiraz getirir: (1) 'kâle leqad 'alimte' cümlesindeki fiil iki mefûlünü doğrudan almıştır, bu yüzden 'bilmek' anlamında olmaması gerekir; (2) 'hâulâi' ism-i işareti müzekker ve akıllı varlıklar için kullanıldığından mercii bir önceki ayetteki 'tis'a âyât' olamaz. Ayrıca Musa'nın öncesi olmayan bir konuşmaya 'leqad' ile başlaması izah gerektirir.
