وَذَا النُّونِ اِذْ ذَهَبَ مُغَاضِباً فَظَنَّ اَنْ لَنْ نَقْدِرَ عَلَيْهِ فَنَادٰى فِي الظُّلُمَاتِ اَنْ لَٓا اِلٰهَ اِلَّٓا اَنْتَ سُبْحَانَكَۗ اِنّ۪ي كُنْتُ مِنَ الظَّالِم۪ينَۚ
Translation
And [mention] the man of the fish [i.e., Jonah], when he went off in anger and thought that We would not decree [anything] upon him. And he called out within the darknesses, "There is no deity except You; exalted are You. Indeed, I have been of the wrongdoers."

Müellifler âyette dua eden kişinin isminin verilmediğini, cevabın başka kitaplarda değil Kur’an’da aranması gerektiğini söylüyor; geleneğin istisnasız Yûnus dediğini aktarıyor ve 21/88 ile Tâ-Hâ 20/40 arasındaki ibare birliğine dikkat çekiyorlar. Metinde kişinin Mûsâ olduğu açıkça beyan edilmiyor, bağlantı üzerinden ima ediliyor. Meâl dipnotta atıfsız verilmiştir; müelliflere ait olduğuna dair açık işaret yok.
Keza böyle biri Enbiya suresi 21/87 ayetine geldiğinde, ayette anlatılan kişinin kim olduğu hakkında; “Ey Allah’ım, burada birini anlatıyorsun da bu kim! İsmini belirtmemişsin. Bunu nasıl anlayacağım. Burada anlatılanlar hangi kıssanın parçası?” diye sorma gereğini hissedecektir.Go to source
