مَٓا اَصَابَكَ مِنْ حَسَنَةٍ فَمِنَ اللّٰهِۘ وَمَٓا اَصَابَكَ مِنْ سَيِّئَةٍ فَمِنْ نَفْسِكَۜ وَاَرْسَلْنَاكَ لِلنَّاسِ رَسُولاًۜ وَكَفٰى بِاللّٰهِ شَه۪يداً
Translation
What comes to you of good is from Allāh, but what comes to you of evil, [O man], is from yourself. And We have sent you, [O Muḥammad], to the people as a messenger, and sufficient is Allāh as Witness.

Sana gelen iyilik Allah’tandır. Başına gelen kötülük ise nefsindendir. Seni insanlara elçi gönderdik; şahit olarak da Allah yeter !
Müellif bu âyeti, resûllerin gönderiliş amacının insanlığın durumunu değiştirmek olduğunu göstermek için kullanır; böylece 'hafîz' kelimesinin 'emanete alınanın durumunu değiştirmemek, ne şekilde verildiyse o şekilde korumak' anlamı ortaya çıkar.
