سَلْ بَن۪ٓي اِسْرَٓائ۪لَ كَمْ اٰتَيْنَاهُمْ مِنْ اٰيَةٍ بَيِّنَةٍۜ وَمَنْ يُبَدِّلْ نِعْمَةَ اللّٰهِ مِنْ بَعْدِ مَا جَٓاءَتْهُ فَاِنَّ اللّٰهَ شَد۪يدُ الْعِقَابِ
Translation
Ask the Children of Israel how many a sign of evidence We have given them. And whoever exchanges the favor of Allāh [for disbelief] after it has come to him - then indeed, Allāh is severe in penalty.

İsrailoğullarına bir sor, onlara açık âyetlerden (mucizelerden) ne kadar çok vermişizdir! Kim Allah’ın nimetini, kendisine geldikten sonra başka bir şeyle değiştirirse bilsin ki Allah, vereceği ceza ile suç arasında sıkı bir bağ kurar.
"Sor onlara" ibaresinin hatırlatma/sorgulatma amaçlı olduğuna delil olarak getirilmiştir.
Bunun gibi وَاسْأَلْهُمْ şeklinde pek çok ayet vardır ve hiçbirinde amaç, bilinmeyen bir şeyi sorup öğrenmek değil, bilinen bir şeyi muhataplarına sorgulatmaktır.Go to source
